A Great Day Of Lace

The "International Lace Day" was a great day enjoyed by all who attended. Here are some photos of the day and the Lace that was worked on.

 

The Sale Lacemakers meet at the Gwen Webb Arts Activity Center, 116 Market St. Sale on the 1st, 3rd, (&5th) Mondays and 1st Saturday of each month, Feb-Nov, 10:00 am – 3:00pm. Visitors and new lacemakers are always Welcome, so bring your lace and your lunch, tea and coffee available. International Lace Day - 21st June 2015

International Lace Day

Sunday June 21^st

International Lace Day aims to raise awareness of the art of lace making, and encourages the public to give it a try.

In celebration of the day, Sale Lacemakers will be having a small display of handmade lace at an open day to be held at “Segue” in Stratford (in the Courthouse theatre building) from 10:00-2:00. Members of the group will be demonstrating their skills at lacemaking and there will be equipment available for visitors to have a go.
